Clean and comfortable

Good with the kids, families, close to the shops. Water is clean, close there are the stairs to watch sunset.

A wonderous beach in any language
Oct 2020
We’re staying on the sixth floor of the Hotel Londres. We have a view of the Concha curve, the waves crashing and the sultanas that are surfers gathering till twilight. This view is spectacular. People are swimming. We walk to the old town to see what is open. The sun is behind us. There are large shapes carved in the sand. A memorial or a protest. A guy with a stick. He is always there. Then the tide comes and erases what he writes. He is a Sysiphus perhaps pushing his rock up the hill only have it roll down for eternity. We have visited on bicycle the Sea Comb of Chillida, breakfasted at his family’s hotel Niza. All with a view of the curve of this jewel. And even during this virus there is the poetry of people, joggers, bikes moving around it. All masked. Cautious but alive. At night we kept the window open to hear the sea in our dreams. And the unmasking of the moon behind the clouds. Start all over again. And even now when not there the memory crashes in. So beautiful and pleasant. And safe.

Nice half day at the beach

Small but well located beach, also it doesn’t have very many waves which makes it child friendly.
Love a couple of the stores that are close by as well

Constant social distance announcements, lifeguards on duty, you can leave you stuff and go for a swim.

Very beautiful landscape for walks, to go to the beach which is huge, but always full, you need to go earlier and to walk here there a bit

Long and wide sandy beach
Oct 2019
We walked the entire length of the beach along the promenade that encircles it. It was a great vantage point for taking in the sights and people watching. The beach appeared to have enough space to accommodate multitudes.

Fabulous beach
Aug 2020
For some reason , the beach is now harder to stay on due to the tides and erosion. It’s great sand and there’s plenty of space to socially distance . The gentle slope of the sand makes the water safe for even young children. Not many restaurants or bars easily accessible from beach . Toilets and showers plentiful.

Breathtaking beach!
Sep 2019
Anyone could spend and entire week on this gorgeous beach and find new adventures. The funicular up to the top of Monte Igueldo. The resturants along the beach. The blue and white stripe beach cabanas to rent. Riding bikes on the boardwalk. Swimming..etc. And the best tapas restaurants in Old San Sebastian.

Great and centrally located beach
Sep 2019
Very nice beach conveniently located right next to the city center, San Sebastian has another beach located in the city as well, but La Concha is by far the best for most people as the water is warmer and calmer here.
