Everybody goes, it worths and must see, to Monte Igueldo, where to rechs no way other than the Onderreta Beach , which seems as present to the people living or visiting Donostia. Actually amongst the two hills, Monte Igueldo and monte urgull There are two beaches, La Concha and Ondarreta, seperated by the Miramar Palace.Gardens. It is a golden sand... More

Another great beach to walk the dog if you have one. Lots of people were doing this as it's very pet friendly. Even saw a woman with a cat on a lead! Hmmm

Ondarreta is the best beach in San Sebastián with a half moon shape that makes it an extremely beautiful frontage to the town. Walking on either the beach or on the esplanade is a pleasant way to take in the atmosphere.

The less 'famous' of the two beaches but clean and it was fun watching the surfers in the sea. Didn't see any option to hire sunbeds but that could just be in season

the beach wanders around beautiful rock formations but it has a long stretch of beach for swimming with a low water line for easy swimming.

I find ondarrera marvelous because you have to consider its a "city-beach". Chose this beach cause La Concha the was pretty crowded and because I wanted to visit the island indent of the beach by swimming. It has toilets, towels rentals, umbrellas rentals and all this just walking a couple of minutes from your place. Gorgeous beach. 100% recommended.

The beach is cleaned every morning by a team of workers. There are clean WCs, snack bars, showers and beach tents for hire. At night the view from the beach is spectacular.
