Beautiful views, friendly people!

We enjoy some games of sand volleyball with locals and also went surfing. It's less crowded than La Concha but still great views!

This beach is right by the conference center, with more the waves being more appropriate for surfing. Nice to walk along and get a feel for the beauty of the waves.

Lovely sandy beach, perfect for people watching and surf watching! Zurriola Beach is very close to the River and there are plenty of places nearby to hire surfboards for a short time, or for the day...

Zurriola beach was " created " a few years ago almost from scratch. There was nothing but rocks, dirtiness and ugly spaces. Fortunately everything changed and it seems difficult to believe what it was before! It's a great place to visit because it's the perfect place for a nice walk starting in the culture centre of the city, and ending... More

I lived in Donosti for almost 2 years and a half 10 years ago and without any doubt this was my favorite beach. I love to sit on the bars in Sagues to see the sunset over the beach. I love the waves in this beach, big enough to do some serious damage while bodyboarding. Great place to swim or... More

Little bit more low key and less people than La Concha. Definitely worth taking the trek over to the surfer beach to get a different vibe than the more touristy La Concha. This is more of a locals beach and there is more of a younger crowd over on this side of town.

This beach is a great spot for surfing competitions, people watching or just a fun day at the beach. You can rent chairs for a minimal fee (I think $10 USD?) or sprawl out on the beach for free. They do have a bar on the beach which is a plus. The other beach (La Concha) is more of a... More

Real fine sand on this beach. Great waves and excellent for surfers of all ages. Sections away from surfers. were kept for swimmers only. Good relaxed vibe along the sea front. Plenty of bars and eateries nearby. Just go and enjoy.
