Although its an aquarium, most of the displays were Naval History. They are interesting but not what you expect of an aquarium. One floor did have displays of sea life with a section of underwater tunnel that was quite interesting. Worth a visit.

This is a lovely place to go for a couple of hours to have a break from the sun or on a rainy day. It is more museum than aquarium, it has lots of local and social history, also a history of piracy. There is...More

My wife, 5year old daughter had a great time here. Lovely introduction about whaling, fishing and other nautical stuff led to a great tour around everything fishy. Recommended!

It is an amazing place because there are good exhibitions apart from the main aquarium. Everything is well explained and it has historical documents very interesting for the visitors.

Great experience. My son loved it. The main aquarium is spectacular, with huge sharks circulating freely and Mantra as big as an umbrella, Really enjoyed the visit. If you are looking for some good before or after you'd rather want to walk a little bit...More

Visited here for the second time and enjoyed it just as much. Interesting history of the area as well as the aquarium - well worth a visit. If you get chance to have a five minute rest in the auditorium, do so. Watching the fish...More

Okay, when you first get in it's more of a history of the area and how San Sebastián evolved over the centuries - cool stuff. But once you get into the lower area to the aquarium... awesome! The tunnel where the fish can swim over...More
