Living in the UK I was amazed to find so much fish, meat and veg. I experienced a lack f lettuce in 3 major supermarkets last week!! Nothing like that here. I have never seen so much produce anywhere. Quality is outstanding also and CHEAP. Soon o emigrate if only for the food. The building is modernised and so well maintained. A Brilliant place to visit

Had a great lunch of pintxos outside by the river. It was relaxing, and the food was good with beautiful views of the Casco Viejo.

While we did enjoy a couple of tasty pintxos, overall the experience felt more like eating at the food court in a mall/shopping center than it did a true "market" (compare to Mercado de San Miguel in Madrid, for example).

This is a great place. I had a class that taught us how to cook here. It was a nice experience. My only negative (which it makes sense, not arguing, just making you aware) the prices for food inside there is a bit expensive. Just spend the money to travel a little more around Bilbao and eat at a more local joint for half the euros.

Although it is supposed to be the biggest covered market in Europe we didn’t really feel that. However, it is a not to be missed place if you visit Bilbao. The market itself is very organised and offers a variety of options. On the first floor there are different stαlls that offer a variety of different pintxos to choose from and each of them costs 2€ on average. We were really satisfied by the flavours and the quality of everything.

If you are food obsessed like me, this is a great place to go. A functioning market where locals can do their shopping along tourist buying food related souvenirs. It also have a food court where the pintxos look really tempting.

Excellent place to find a large choice of pintxos. It may be crowded because others know about the good food!

Market area with cute bars/restaurants in the middle for drinks and pintxos. The market itself is closed for siesta (2-4/5pm) but the bar area was open and it was a perfect place to relax for a glass of wine and good pintxos.

This is the largest market in Bilbao and well worth a visit. They have every kind of meat and seafood you can imagine! The food court has a huge selection of pintxos and you can have a great lunch with a beer or Sangria for less than 15 Euros.

Two floors of meat, seafood, and produce for locals. Exceptional selection. The pinxtos area is loaded with at least 150 or more types of pintxos. Something for everyone here and very tasty. Try 1 or 2 from every vendor. Yes, your belly might be bigger when you leave, but they are cheap and really, really, good.
