The recent performance of Kepa Junkera & Sorginak with Maletak was out of this world. The 2 hour performance passed in the blink of an eye.

We attended a performance of 'Cabaret' here. Unsurprisingly it was performed in Spanish and whilst I'm not a particularly proficient linguist, it was easy to follow such a well-known story. The building dates from the 19th century and its history seems ingrained in its walls - I'm sure it has witnessed some stunning performances. It was a delightful evening. We... More

We bought tickets on line for a concert of Antique Basque Music, Euskel Antiqva, and it was wonderful. Music, singing, dancing...an unforgettable experience. We suggest travellers should check out what is on offer before they visit Bilbao

This old theater is very old and large. On a great location in the old city, near the old bridge. We didnot visited in inside, but it looks very nice.

We saw the theatre whilst doing our walk around the old town area. Unfortunately we could not visit inside as it was not open. The pictures we could see of the inside indicated that the inside is as beautiful as the outside. If there was an opportunity to go inside we would have loved to see the interior. We found... More

For just 5 euros you can take a guided tour of this beautiful theatre. The architecture is also magnificent. Also most performances start at about 20.00 hours should you wish to see a show. It is situated in the old part of Bilbao and close to the Plaza Nueva.
