This is a must see.

I really enjoyed this. The motion display was fantastic. The other levels were a bit out there, but I loved it. I was there for hours.

World Class Museum

One of the best museums I have been to. The visits starts with the amazing architecture on the outside. It then continues inside with the unique angular structures and wide open spaces. And it concludes with the amazing exhibitions.

The different exhibitions was so interesting as there was modern art, sculptures, antique cars that were themselves works of art. It was just a wonderful experience.

I wouldn't be the first person to say the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao is better from the outside. They currently have an Auto Exhibit that is worth the admission

Wonderful museum, great exhibitions. Skip the museum Cafe.

Great museum. I'm always happy to visit. It also has a wonderful gift shop.

However, don't buy anything in the museum Cafe if there aren't any tables available. The waiters outside are very unfriendly and shoo you away with the food and drinks you just bought. There are too many chairs and too little tables.

Absolutely Loved It

Thoroughly and completely and utterly engrossing museum I'm not a huge art connoisseur or anything, I know what I like, and most of what's in the Guggenheim I loved.
The floral puppy sculpture outside is einderful, as is the towering Maman spider.
Inside there museum there is wonderful sculptures, visual arts a d a while floor devoted to motor cars. It has Lewis Hamiltons F1 Ferrari and the original Aston Martin from James Bond Goldfinger.
It has Andy Warhol works as well as others I had never heard if, as I said I'm no connoisseur!
Honestly, I spent hours here and couldn't recommend it highly enough.
Incredible to look at from outside and within!

Guggenheim was Great; The Motion Exhibition Amazzzzzing!!

The building and setting is great and the modern art was as expected. The unexpected super treat was the "Motion" exhibition which had an absolutely amazing car collection...MUST SEE!!

Ok the exhibitions were a bit limited (temporary show about cars - really?! And a pretty poor permanent collection) but one or two highlights - notably the Richard Sella steels - and of course the building which is a sculpture in itself.

A top site for a good reason-truly amazing

Even though I thought modern art wasn’t my thing, I was blown away by this place and it’s collection. It alone is a reason to put Bilbao on your bucket list of travel recommendations. We spent a couple hours taking it in but didn’t feel at all overwhelmed or intimidated. Our private guide Sergio took us to all the best viewpoints ensuring we took in all the iconic pieces from the puppy to the tulips to the spider. We also really enjoyed the newly opened exhibition on the design of cars featuring dozens of fanciful vehicles and concept cars.

The Frank Gehry designed building is an amazing work itself with a soaring atrium and eye catching angles of titanium, limestone and glass. In the evening we wandered back by and took in the flames that shoot out of the reflecting pool at 5-minute increments as well as the the hauntingly beautiful fog machine that goes off at the top of each hour. The combination was electrifying.

The top site in Bilbao for a reason.

The building itself is oh so wonderful to see inside and out. The collections were very good, exposing me to some artists I did not know. Very worth 2+ hours.

One of the best modern art museum in the world.
Richard Serra installations are just phenomenal!
The entire exhibition was made in heaven - would come back here anytime.
