I love this spot up in the hills behind the city, the air is fresh and the church is a masterpeice and the bonus is the view of the city and the Asturian mountains.. love it

What a beautiful historic site. The architecture of this church is amazing. The views of the city are breathtaking.

We walked up here on the Sunday morning. It is a beautiful spot and there is a guided tour if you wish, there is also a shop with info and an audio visual presentation.It is well worth the visit

We were not able to go in as there were too many tourists. It was worth going to though. Since it is a rather steep climb, if you are coming from town, I would suggest a taxi.

Worth the bus ride. You need to avoid midday ,no tours 1340 to 1540. Quite arduous if using the bus.
