This chapel is a photographer's delight. Beautiful symmetry combined with a compactness not often seen these days. Reminded me very much of renaissance chapels. It is a short if somewhat steep stroll from the Santa Maria. Worth it.

It is the same comment I made for the Santa Maria del Naranco. Driving to the hill where it is located is easy, then getting on foot to the area is slightly complicated, but at the end make sense to walk (you may reach the...More

Another example of Asturian pre-Romanesque architecture. It's close to Santa Maria del Naranco so I recommend visiting both in the same trip.

Don't waste your time. This is a magnificient monument run by a shepherd. They are not willing to explain the history nor the archquitecture, in Spanish. I believe they don't know English, so you will skip the pain.

II do not understand why these important places have these type of guides. The place was full of history while the guide looked like a machine. He was rude and not nice

Another great building. A young boy was practicing his bag pipes and it just added to an already beautiful day.

The San Miguel De Lillo was an excellent building and goes well with two nearby attractions, the Santa Maria Del Naranco and Monte Naranco. It's easy to get to, especially by car, although me and my grandfather walked. It is an old building that is...More
