I quite like a botanical garden and this did not disappoint me. There is an entrance charge less than €3 for an adult though I am a firm believer that gardens like these should be free. The gardens are well laid out in the different...More

We spent a few hours at this well organized garden. It covers a wide variety of Northern Spain's habitats and also offers some cultural insights. There was a cool display of how charcoal is made from oak wood, a great display on beekeeping and an...More

About a 20 min drive out from the centre of town. Easy free parking the day we visited. Well worth the trip and places inside the garden to picnic.

A very beautiful place to visit. Very peaceful with lots of hidden walks throughout. A river runs through the gardens which is just so tranquil. Highly recommended.

I love Botánico, is one of my favourites places in Gijon. You can find a lot of painters having inspiration of the beautiful corners. There is a little " river " inside and a 20th style bathhouse that is something special. The price to get...More

The gardens were quite large with many entwining trail and bridges. Some of the plants need more care but that might be because of the sheer size of the place. We found a large "insect "hidden in a ditch which was a big eye catcher....More
