Totally worth the walk on a blustery day, the sun gave us just enough time to marvel in the wonder of the sea behind this lovely structure.

Probably the highest point of the city which offers a panoramic magnificent view of the city, its sourounding, the port, beaches, ocean and the fort, especially impressive on sunny days.

From here you can see the Cantabrian sea, the town and the beach nearby. The green lawns give it all a beautiful contrast.

An great view along the coastline and back over the city. Some interesting art installations. Read the notice boards about the history. The day we went was windy but I still enjoyed the fresh air.

It's a pleasant walk out on the peninsular, past two or three good cider bars and some incredibly ugly buildings. The view is lovely, not convinced by the concrete, brutalist art, lots of fun for dogs though...

The attraction might be known for its unusual structure /architecture on the hill top, which is really impressive... but what I liked rather loved it splendid view of sea and small boats floating around... Quite windy though

This is an easy walk up from the small old town of Gijon. If you are a military history buff you should especially like it, but the views alone are quite nice. I am not sure about the comments that it is dirty?? There wasn't...More
