Even in dense fog it's impressive

I had driven almost to the door, when at last we saw the lighthouse. The weather was warm at the end of October this year so, at the sea, the fog was really dense. We'd looked forward to wonderful sea views but that was not to be. What we experienced was an incredible walk along the cliff top on the... More

If you find yourself wandering nearby, pay a visit to these cliffs. It is the northern point of Asturias and you can enjoy the view of all the coast.

People in our hotel told us about this place and we decided to visit. It is a wonderful place especially in the sun. The view along the coast and out to sea is great. The fauna and flora are also beautiful. Great place to visit.

You can read information about flora and fauna. There is also a lighthouse. There can be a lot of wind. Also... More

And even better climbing if you are prepared. The view is spectacular. Lots of birds and the occasional fishing vessel just off the point offer great photo opportunities.

Having seen the nice beach in Gijon I was quite surprised about the cliffs and their roughness in Cabo Peñas. The start getting point of this spot is the lighthouse that you can see from far. It is still on duty. There is a big parking and also a restaurant which looks a bit used from the outside. So we... More
