Interesting even if not an art buff

I admit I'm not an art fan & hadn't heard of Goya before. This was worth a visit if you have seen the main sites already though. 4 euro entrance & 2 euro for the audioguide- not free like I'd read. I recommend the guide because it gave much more detail to the paintings. Goyas prints had explanations in Spanish... More

This museum is an excellent place to see Goya's prints/etchings in addition to work by other artists from the Aragon region. 4 euros is the price of entry, and for 2 additional euros you are provided with a headset that guides you through the museum. The majority of exhibits have text in Spanish, English, and French. I thought that the... More

This museum is still rated highly because it has many prints by Goya and they are fantastic and rather fascinating. His best paintings are else where but this is still good to visit...

This is a wonderful small museum that offers a great collection of Goya prints, some of his early paintings, and galleries of paintings by other Spanish artists. Goya's prints have influenced many artists over past few centuries, and it is great seeing them all together and well displayed. The museum is housed in a lovely old palace just a few... More

A superb museum devoted to Goya but also with a large display showing his influence on different genres including impressionism and surrealism. Fascinating. Superb curation with a very high percentage of paintings/print in multiple languages. What really surprised was the lack of visitors. I was there for over 2 hours on a Friday morning and came across only 2 other... More

This small museum holds 14 of Goya's painting along with lots of his prints. Also in the museum are paintings of those who came before Goya and of those who Goya influenced. There really was some fantastic pieces of work. The prints were individually accompanied by an interpretation which made them a lot more interesting and not a little bizarre... More

Found this small gallery tucked in a small alley behind the crowded plaza. After showing the passports to verify the age, they gave us free pass as senior category. The lady even offered a locker key to put our bags before entering the museum, again for free. We saw many paintings influenced the great painter, and alo many artists' work... More

If you are going to enjoy the big collection of Goya paintings maybe this museum is not a great choice because the only one room on the second floor (there are 3 floors in museum) displays his masterpieces. But if you are once there you will be surprised by the collection of the famous Spanish painters from Francisco Goya's brother... More

So this is an excellent little gallery of art, mostly focused on Goya, but there's some good exhibits about what came before and after him too. The best part, though, is the selection of prints he made. I never knew about this side of Goya-I always associated him with the oil paintings he did so well. But these prints were... More
