Free Flamenco show in a pretty remote corner of Sevilla. You can get drinks and food at the counter. It's a fun and popular atmosphere, but if you have limited time in Sevilla, you may want to skip this attraction.

People who say it is too hot and sweaty are right, but the dramatically outweighs all of the problems. It is mesmerising and authentic. The drinks are quite nice too.

Very good, and very authentic! And free! It's very atmospheric in a lean to shed where a jug of sangria is €9 and the beer special is €2. There is not a lot of food, limited tapas of cheese, ham, olives and nachos with a...More

First and last visit. Hot and sweaty (ie smelly), expensive and poor tasting wine, rickety tables and full of tourists. One to miss.

Sadly, the Carboneria has lost it. The internal layout has been (unnecessarily) altered and is wholly unsuited to performance. The performances themselves are inferior and irritatingly short. What was once a gem, worth a serious night out, is now a rather spiritless dive bar. A...More

We had been told about this place where you get to see 'free flamenco' and I suppose if you have seen other flamenco shows offered at between 15 to 20 euros per show this may seem a good option. It is very basic, with a...More

We enjoyed 2 shows at La Carboneria. We ate before we got there and had a few pitchers of sangria and some beers. The place was packed and hot-but that added to the cool vibe. Just benches and trestle tables, so not fancy. But very...More

Myself and my wife stayed in Seville for a short 3 night break. We were really looking forward to visiting Seville for its culture, its Flamenco and tapas bars in particular to us that was inspired by Rick Stiens TV programme on touring Spain ....More

You can't go to Sevilla and not see a Flamenco performance. La Carboneria is an excellent choice, it looks "authentic" & there were a lot of locals. The atmosphere was nice&relaxing. Had some great Sangria and Agua Di Sevilla here too! Be sure to check...More

The idea was to view a Flamenco dance. This place serves drinks. The drink was probably to keep ourselves busy till the performers got ready. The singing was by an older gentleman, who sang ( in Spanish, so sadly could not understand the lyrics )...More

There's no entry fee. You can order food and drink inside...the food isn't the best so maybe it's just drinks and a restaurant later.
