We were told the jazz club opened at 8 so got a taxi there. It didn't! A very surly man outside was pulling up the shutters, so we asked him what time it opens and what sort of jazz. He replied 9 and it might be soul or any sort of jazz. We went off and ate. Returned to club, opened door, heard the music and left, not our taste. It's a very small room with no atmosphere.&…

what a shame travelled to see some jazz. The band were of good quality But really rude Manager who should set an example to his staff. only a few chairs not really interested in making your evening enjoyable. A real shame as not much jazz around and the players were good

As jazz fans, we had hoped to love this small club, however, the bartender made it impossible for us to feel welcomed. We were scolded because we did not pay immediately (we misunderstood and thought there would be table service). We see other reviewers also reported rude treatment. The bit of music we heard was good quality, but we walked out. Be forewarned, order or drop your three euros on the bar when you walk in the door and then jostle for the all too few chairs.…

Tucked away a short distance from the main tourist centre, this bar is a great venue with live music. Very intimate but well worth a visit with very high quality musicians.
