We went on a Monday afternoon, and nothing that we read or anyone we asked mentioned it might be closed - it was. So nothing much to see, unfortunately. A disappointment. Plan your visit better than we did.

Very cute market with lots of interesting food options and cooking school but some of the vendors are looking to prey on tourists. Use only the fruit and vegetable stalls with listed prices. Got ripped off big time by a vege stall. Overpaid by at...More

Hubby and I were excited to purchase some fresh fruit and vegetables for our further travels around Spain. Most of the vege stores looked similar so we settled on a coupe to buy a few bits and pieces. In the first store the woman wouldn't...More

This is a great market hall, you can select tapas from different stalls, get a drink of wine, smoothie, ice cream, cake, then sit and eat it taking in the ambience.

Open until 3pm. Food market with stalls that sell food and drink to have in the market itself. Some stalls will cook things for you too. Restaurants also in there and seating with tables to use. We also went early one evening for a drink...More

Not as good as many of the reviews make out. Interesting fish and vegetables but no bustling market. Went here at 10.30 am and hardly anything was open, this was a Tuesday

After visiting the excellent mercados in San Sebastian, Valencia or Barcelona, this lands on the medium level. On the selection, cleaness and service. You can find everything you need for your apartment cooking, but it did not make you say wow, what a fresh selection...More

We didn't walk around the market much, because we were hot and hungry, and instead made a bee-line for a restaurant we had seen from outside the market. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name. It was near a fruit stand and next to a hardware...More

We enjoyed walking though the market and seeing all the food vendors. Many fruit vendors offered us samples of delicious cherries. We purchased a nice watermelon snack (cut with plastic fork) at a fruit stand in the SE corner for just 1 euro - perfect...More

It closes between 2 to 3 pm and although the building is open on Sunday, the stalls are not.
