Part of the fair of 1929, there are a good number the other buildings to visit in the same park. Some used as part of the university, or government, and all attractive to tourists. Just a beautiful collection of buildings to admire. Make sure to...More

Interesting building, nice place to walk and you can rent paddle boats if you'd like. The fountain is lovely too.

Coming from Australia, we were mesmerised by this building. There isn't anything like it in Sydney, and it was absolutely beautiful to stare and marvel at the sheer size and magnificence of the structure. Highly recommend. It was very hot when we went in june...More

This square initially appears big and impersonal but once you get close to the buildings, the bridges and water you realise how beautiful it is. Even when busy it doesn't seem crowded because it is vast, probably once of the biggest squares I have seen!

An amazing plaza next to a large park. It is impressive to walk around outside. Inside appear to be government offices. Beautiful ceramic work everywhere including tiled murals of different cities in Spain.

Plaza de Espana is no doubt the best free attraction in Seville. It's a gorgeous plaza with great architecture. We went there twice during our trip. The first time was just a photo-stop of the horse-carriage city tour. We decided to go there again to...More

Every time I try to write a first sentence, it sounds so hyperbolic that I erase it to write something more believable. But I can't. The magnificence of this plaza rivals any plaza/piazza/pláce/platz in Europe. And, as they say, a river runs through it. This...More

I'm not sure where the port is, but there is plenty to see and do and eat. I would go to the area around the cathedral. There is a lot in that area including the Plaza de Espana and the surrounding gardens. It's about a... More
