Visited today and was very interested in the architectural history of the place but there was no real information. The CAAC had 3 current exhibition none of which really interested me. The small cafe was a real disappointment and I wouldn't go back. Ordered 2...More

Interesting looking complex, but no real substance inside. Photographs of pottery and odd art films. Not really one thing or another. Restaurant very poor. It's quite far to go and not reaslly worth it.

After the monastery no longer served a such, it was a factory (ceramics) and now El Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo (CAAC) is housed here, since 1997. Although the buildings are typical of the era, they are not really special, nor in an excellent state...More

This monastery has been turned into a modern arts museum. The buildings are decent but a bit run down. We didn't stay too long as it wasn't our preferred style of art. It was a nice walk over the bridge to get here

This old monastery has become a pottery factory before finally being the Contemporary Art Center of Sevilla. It's a unique place where modern and ancient buildings are mixed up. Nice gardens and courtyards. The exhibitions are quite nice. It's free on some days.
