Worth a visit. Very interesting place with a lot of history. Three castles in one from different times all joinef. If you really want to get the full experience pay the extra 10€ for a guide. We'll worth the money.

This palace is still in use by the royal family of Spain. It has many gardens, with fountains and small lakes inside. It is a place of great history and a great example of Andalusian architecture. I recommend you visit with a tour guide.

My first experience of Moorish architecture, and I wasn't disappointed. I would seriously recommend anyone who visits Seville to go to the Alcàzar. Just expect it to be busy, as it's such a popular tourist destination.

One of the most beautiful buildings and gardens I have ever been in. You can spend hours there and we did. Amazing beauty.

So much history in such a beautiful palace, this is a must see when in Sevilla. We didn’t do the guided tour, however there are lots of historical plaques all over explaining the significance of the different parts of the Alcazar! Entry fee is not...More

Not the most majestic or impressive (after seeing Alhambra) but a must for game of thrones fans as quite a few scenes were taken there. Not so touristy and a nice place to chill by, I like the Labyrinth garden haha

The Royal Palace (Real Alcazar) was originally developed by the Moorish Muslims in the 10th century and was originally a Moorish fort. The Spanish word for Alcazar is translated to "fortified castle". The entrance to the Palace is called the Lion's Gate and is lined...More

I would recommend going to the Real Alcazar early in the morning, so it's still quiet. Nice gardens and rooms.

The entrance is rather hidden behind the Cathedral but well worth the effort. The building is labyrinthine but the decoration, plasterwork, tiling etc. are a sight to behold. A must do if in Seville.

We didn't book online and lined up for a ticket for about 15mins in the end, that line is nothing compared to the line for the Cathedral so you should be fine. It gets a bit sunny in the line so take a hat or fan :)
