What a terrific glimpse into old Seville. A beautiful mansion, beautiful gardens, history, art, architecture and glamourous visitors, what's not to like. We visited Las Duenas on a Monday afternoon, a double bonus for us, after 4pm it's free, just a short walk from the...More

The house sits right in the middle of Sevilla old town, it is hard to find because streets are very narrow and not straight so must take a taxi. Upon arriving, it is a bit unimpressive, the main gate is very plain as is the...More

This mansion is well worth a visit although a challenge to find in back streets. There was information in each room but mainly about recent residents, whereas we wanted to know more about the building - when it was built, by whom & more about...More

Follow the signs or your map to find this hidden gem. Lots of history and peaceful gardens. The place is still occupied, with gives it a truly lived-in feel.

Lovely private palace and gardens. It was quiet compared to other sites in Seville and that added to it's appeal. Lovely gardens and internal courtyard to sit in. Visited as was near our apartment. it is only a 5 min walk from metropol parasol. Well...More

A bit off the beaten path, we toured the beautiful gardens for what is the current home to the Duke of Alba. Many beautiful courtyards, immaculately maintained gardens and grounds. The tour includes audio guide and a tour of a few interior rooms as well.

This was a highlight to our Sevilla museum visits! The home was amazing and the gardens were nice to walk through. We wished the gardens were in bloom, but by October, the gardens had no flowers

This ducal house has only recently been opened to the public, following the death of the most recent Duchess of Alba in 2014. Though it is a palace dating from the Renaissance, it was also the Duchess's favorite residence, and the visitor can gain a...More

I stumbled on this beautiful place quite by accident. Left alone to amble down cool flower strewn walkways with many benches to sit and ponder. A small intimate palace to wonder round with few jostling tourists. The Las Duenas Palace to me was an oasis...More

Given that the entry charge is similar to other attractions and venues in Sevilla with more expansive and interesting architecture, gardens and contents Las Duenas was disappointing. I guess the charges help maintain the wealth of the owner
