We passed through this square both during daylight hours and after dark when the statue and fountains were lit up. It certainly looks more impressive in the dark.

Buses to the Alhambra to the left of the Plaza.Not so much a destination as somewhere you will pass regularly en route through the city

This plaza sits in the heart of Granada with an impressive statue of Queen Isabel and Christopher Columbus and fountains. You're bound to walk by here several times during your visit - take a moment or two to enjoy it!

A nice square with a fountain under the statue of Queen Isabella giving Columbus Christopher the contract to explore and exploit America. Its a place to start your visit to Granada.
