This place offers the best views of Alhambra. Do it in the evening. Get to the trace, have a reat and enjoy the sunset and the castle. Get there by foot and experience the Albayzin neighbourhood too. There some flamenco dancers in the street when...More

Touristy but a must. The view of the mountains and Alhambra are too good to pass up. There is also a little cafe. Grab a beer and just stare. You won't regret!

We reached here after quite a ramble up into the Albaicin and the Sacramonte area. Stopping to get a drink, shelter from the sun (it was a heatwave the week we went - 45 degrees Celcius) and take in the view toward the Sierra Nevada.

So we checked it out during the day, beautiful view, and then checked out one of the coolest Mosques in Granada. However, that is about it. Save this for an evening trip, a couple of bars and restaurants at San Nicolas, perfect night with an...More

You can take the bus up to Plaza de San Nicolas and from there you get a fantastic view of Alhambra. I would recommend you walk down as there are lovely views on the way down and then you walk along the river

During the day or night this is the best view. At night you will be joined by many others including people selling their jewelry around the edge of the plaza.

We went in the morning to avoid the heat, but sunset views are best. Enjoy the walk up through the old quarter.

Great views of Alhambra - can be crowded at sunset. It's a tough hike up the hills and can be a bit challenging to zero in on it. Consider a nearby cafe or bar terrace for a respite while enjoying the views.
