Superb visit with a private guide named Santiago with Exotic Tours . Best way to tour Generalife ! Santiago was engaging, very knowledgeable and since a native of Granada, gave great insight into the history of this beautiful city!

A beautiful view on the Alcazaba, the gardens are really interesting. Can be visited separately from the palace.

The most beautiful gardens despite touring in autumn. We booked online with a tour company Granda Online for the 3 hour tour of both the Alhambra & Generalife. Booking ahead is essential & having a guide with so much knowledge was such a treat. An...More

Gorgeous park and gardens, well worth the time to add onto the Alhambra experience. I would recommend taking a guide, well worth the money you learn so much more of the story and history.

I can not separate this part of the Alhambra from the total experience. It is not to be missed and you need more than 4 hours including your timed appointment for the palace. Amazing! The math to construct these buildings would have boggled the mind...More

Stunning place with most beautiful gardens even in autumn. As with the Alhambra best to book a tour with a guide!

In spite of being very busy the gardens seemed very tranquil and beautifully maintained. We visited at 4 pm and it was somewhat less hectic than in the morning. The temperature had also dropped somewhat so it was a very pleasant visit.

Walking out of the Alhambra towards the summer palace you go through some wonderful gardens. They are extremely well maintained, and you can see the history and development from the Moorish designs to present day, so a must for any student of horticulture.

Hi , you need to take a taxi to the entrance gates, it is very hilly to get up there. Inside there is a lot of walking ,we took one of the guided tours and were walking for nearly 3 hours so be prepared .

Try to go early to the queue, you should get your tickets. Or if you are at a hotel try to get a tour, because the gardens are better to see on tour with good guide!! Nice trip

You can purchase the combined ticket which includes the gardens, or you can purchase a ticket for the gardens on their own for 8 Euros. When we were there last month, the combined tickets were sold out but we were able to... More
