The Generalife gardens are must-see items when visiting the Alhambra-Generalife complex. One may even imagine that the masculinity of the structures of Alhambra is complemented by the femininity of Generalife gardens. The designs, the colors, the ambiance - every aspect of those gardens are simply spectacular. Even the stone laid alleyways in the garden display beautiful patterns. The extensive care... More

Even in the first week of December, you can see how beautiful these gardens would be in full bloom. The designs, colors, water fountains - all so beautiful. Don't miss out on this - it's gorgeous.

Gardens and woodlands surrounding alhambre. If you take a guided your of the whole complex, you can return after your tour and spend as little or as much time as you want. The area is gorgeous and peaceful. You can do extensive walking IF you want but don't have to to enjoy the beauty and tranquility.

Beautiful gardens, even in winter, and stunning shots of the Alhambra. It offered colour, even in winter, and water features that are intrinsic to Arabic architecture.

We started our walk around the gardens early and it had been raining overnight, this gave a fresh appearance to the hard landscaping. The flower borders at this time of year are past their best but were still magnificent. The views are stunning from the terraces and the viewing tower and we particularly liked the water staircase.

An absolute Must. Find out the relation of gardens to heaven and consider it is all hand done, then just enjoy the scent and colours of the garden. Take an insurance policy out against being bewitched!

Generalife is also a must see visit when in Granada, plan your visit in advance and early in the day since it gets busy.

Our 3-hour-plus tour of the Alhambra left us pretty tired by the time we got to Generalife and climbed 40 more stairs. But some visitors did it with strollers! It's worth the look since you're already there. But it's really more of the same.

We took a tour of all Alhambra and the guide started with the Generalife gardens, it surprise us how big is the city and the beautiful gardens, for us this visit tough us a lot of history and we appreciated so much the Arabic construction it was outstanding. The views also amazing.

Visiting the Generalife is included in the tour when you book your Alhambra visit with a tour company. We paid 65 euros per person for a small group tour, available in different languages, which started at 10 am at the Welcome Center of the Alhambra. We visited the Generalife and the Alhambra gardens before visiting the Alhambra itself. Although we... More
