El Mirador de San Nicolas is the place with the best views of Alhambra and Granada town. It is situated in the middle of Albaicin, the old maur town, which is unbelievably romantic. If you visit Granada, you cannot miss this place!

Visited in September and we were not dissapointed. Beautiful, peaceful, amazing views of alhambra and surrounding scenery. A must do activity if visiting granada. We liked it so much we visited again in December and had lunch in one of the resteraunts, ate outside and absorbed tranquil atmosphere and amazing views. If you can't walk get a taxi. It's worth... Many people go to the Mirador before going to the Alhambra, we did the opposite. Visited the Alhambra and then went early morning the next day to the Mirador which was empty and had great light to get photos before the sun was over the mountains. Since we had visited already we could appreciate the view and recognized the different... More

Majestic view of the Alhambra palace and the Sierra Nevada mountain range behind. You can enjoy the view further with cafes nearby offering the same awesome view. It's in the albaycin neighborhood and walking up is the recommended way to reach it as you can enjoy yourself in the Arabian residential architecture along the way. Truly unique experience.

A good place to view the Alhambra at night. It's a steel walk so take a taxi (€6) up there and walk down the steps through the old moorish town back into Granada.

The Mirador de San Nicolas is a "must" - from here you have the most amazing views of the Alhambra Palace and all the roof tops. There are lots of locals visiting this area as well as tourists. On the day we went, also some live music.

It's a Mirador situated at the top of the historic neighbourhood of Albayzin. I recommand to visit at night. Its enjoyable to walk over through the streets from la Gran Via to the place.

Why this is more well known, at least in the uk, is beyond me. There really aren't words to describe the stunning view and atmosphere you get from this place. Stick this in your bucket list and get to see it. You need to do that to really appreciate this place fully.

Mostly known for the good view at the Alhambra but also a nice square for food or drinks. It's a very well visited viewing point so it's recommended to be there early, in time to see the sunset

Pretty park. Go to only remaining Mosque in Granada next door! Beautifully restored. Location where Bill Clinton took his family for sunset because it impacted him.
