Worth the walk up in the sunshine. Beautiful views over the city and the Sierra nevada. Might be worth taking your lunch up there with you as we didn't find a good value lunch, although enjoyed a beer in the sunshine.

San NIcolás square faces a breathtaking view of the Alhambra on the far side of a ravine and the Sierra Nevada mountains behind it. A church stands in the square and just off it is a new mosque. The square is alive with tourists taking photos of the stunning view while gypsies, flamenco guitarists, hippies and artiisans compete for their... More

The mirador does have a wonderful view of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra hill and the city. But the place is rather crowded and turistic. Eorth visiting, but there are better view points in Granada. ;)

I love this place. Best view of the Alhambra and Sierra nevada. Sit and relax! Easy to walk from paseo de los tristes. A bit hilly!

Great view and great atmosphere. Go for a beer with tapas included to a restaurant behind the church.

When there in the morning was not crowded it was sunny and nice you get a great view of the neighbourhood as well as the Alhambra. We took a taxi to get there as the streets are steep then we walked down the narrow streets.

We took one of the city's minibus's up to the site and was not disappointed, it offers great views of the Alhambra and panoramic views of the mountains and surrounding area , The place was bursting with activity , crowded with locals and tourists, We enjoyed las canciones folcolrica of a local ballad group , The church in the square... It's a square on top of the Albaycin and in front of the Alhambra. From there you have a beautiful view of the Alhambra and its north surroundings. It tends to be full of people so try to go early.

I recommend to reach San Nicolas walking - you will arrive charged by the Albayzin and Alhambra atmosphere... When you arrive, this sudden overwhelming tired feeling typical for tourists will disappear with a beer, tapa, and the impressive view to Alhambra - you will never forget this moment!
