Beautiful decorated in the original interior patio style of the age and the location, which comes from the Moorish need/desire to have private space inside a quadrant or 'carmen' as they're known. Lovely mosaics and colonnades with a central fountain and statues all around the...More

Run by the Hospitallers of St John, this is a very interesting museum in an historic building. You enter through a beautiful Andalusian courtyard.

Room after room of slightly creepy art and artefacts relating to the equally creepy St John of God. Loved the atmosphere and the bizarre selection of exhibits. Three euros with a guided tour by an enthusiastic young guide. Recommended

What a charming museum this is! A short, English or Spanish tour takes you through the items in the collection. It is intimate and interesting so our children aged 10, 9 and 6 could easily relate to the items on display and not get bored.
