Immense and beautiful place! However, you must either purchase tickets online in advance (a lot of time in advance), or be sure to be an early bird and buy the tickets there for two entrances: either 8:30 in the morning or 4:30 in the afternoon....More

Reaching Alhambra after so many beautiful impressive places that I've been visiting in Andalusia, like Alcazar and Plaza de Espana in Seville, the Cathedral in in Malaga and the one in Granada, to name a few, was really the "cherry on top" of my trip...More

What a wonderful experience. Visit the generalife gardens, explore the palace and the fort, enjoy the views of Granada. Worth the trip and much better than Alcazar (Seville). Worth hiring a private guide if you have the opportunity.

It is the must visit in Granada. A very large place with a lot to see - from palaces to gardens, castles to history etc. You must buy tickets and book the time to visit weeks in advance because tickets sold out very quickly. Allow...More

As per my review of the Generalife this is a must do tour / visit when in Spain. Take your time to sit and absorb the details and really appreciate its beauty. Don't stress over getting the perfect visitor free photo - its almost impossible...More

I went to Granada only to see Alhambra and it was worth every penny and time spent. The palace is beautiful and different than anything i saw in France, Lisbon, Spain or Italy. One needs to book tickets online at-least 2-3 months in advance. Both...More

We visited the Alhambra over 2 days which for us was the best way as there is so much to see. We booked an organised tour with getyourguide which did not include the Nasrid palace complex but was very informative taking 3 hours. We pre-booked...More

Visited Alhambra with guided tour from Welcome Visitor Centre. Guide Antonio was extremely knowledgeable but the Alhanbra itself is the feature. So much to see and to appreciate the history, skill and sophistication of the people who built it. Anyone who visits Granada must go...More

The Alhambra is spectacular. We have been fortunate enough to live in Granada this year and I visit often and take a brisk morning walk up and around the hill several times a week. The best advice that I can provide is to book your...More

I tried buying tickets to the Alhambra a few months ago, but the tickets were sold out for the dates that I needed. I am travelling with my husband and 5 year old son. It looks like I can still buy tickets with a tour/guide but I don't think my 5 year old will last the distance. Any recommendations? I'm not taking a stroller ...

Our hotel bought tickets in advance for us - we stayed at Hotel America which is right by the Alhambra so you can pop back for a siesta. I think they charged us 4euros for getting the tickets.

Hello, Is it true that there is no longer a requirement to choose either morning or evening session? That only a time for Nasrid Palace is required but we are free to enter anytime in Alhambra, no longer having to choose morning or evening session? Thnks

Hi So I'm wondering if I can just buy tickets on Ticketmaster and then get an audio guide or those electronic guides? anyone know how much they are? I'll have to pay extra for them? Because Ticketmaster doesn't have a tour guide included in their price and we are thinking of getting some sort of a guide. Plus can someone please clarify if we can pickup our Ticketmaster tickets @ the ticket counter? I'm confused as some people said they had to pickup their Ticketmaster tickets from somewhere else in Granada? Thanks in advance!!

You can book a tour on line via an agent, such as Viator, who will give you a confirmation ref. number and tell you where to meet and at what time. DO NOT be late, as the tours all have allotted times. Your tour guide... More
