We loved the tour because it gave us a chance to see the beautiful countryside and learn about the agriculture around Granada. The town Violet takes you to is at the base of the Sierra Nevadas and we took some great photos from the oil processing museum. I loved the presentation at the table for the taste testing of the... My husband and I wanted to spend a few hours getting to know Spanish Olive Oils - this is a great way to meet people, learn something, taste a bunch of great olive oils, and have fun...not a masters degree in olive oil making but enough to be interesting! Guide (Violetta) was lovely and knowledgeable - olive oils delicious. And... More

She arrived at the hotel, a slender lady with dark black hair blowing in the wind. She walked forward with a sense of confidence and our eyes met. We shaked hands, her slender but muscular arms flexed in the warm sunlight. Her name was Violet. The car drive was tense, watching discretely as she changed gears, again her arms taking... More

I really enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it, second favourite thing in Granada after Alhambra. Very professional organisation, well organised, our guide Violeta was friendly and knowledgeable. She showed us the different trees growing and then took us to the beautiful village to see the old mill and press and then we enjoyed the olive oil tasting. This... More

This is one of those reviews that is a bit difficult to write. On one hand - all the nice things people say about the tour are technically true, the tour is indeed enjoyable and the guide very nice. On the other - for 38 euros, one would expect a bit more than watching a 10 minute movie about olive... More

Dear Mr. Vj, Thank you very much for your review. Our tour is designed to have a general but complete introduction into the olive oil world in Andalusia. That is why we present the most common situation, many small-scale olive producers growing local varieties and extracting at a local cooperative. The choice of tasting 5 olive oils from different producers... More

My parents and I signed up for this tour not knowing what to expect and we were not disappointed. We were picked up in Granada and driven to the town of Nigüelas. On the way, we stopped and got a short tour of some of the villagers' plots of land. Our guide, explained about different types of olives and trees.... More

Violeta leads a fun tour to show grapes, pressing, and tasting of olive oil and wine. We had 8 people in the van for a pleasant trip and walk along the vines. We tried 5 olive oils and 2 wines along with a lot of good bread. Our group mixture was worldly and we all enjoyed. Part of he tour... More

Our tour guide, Violeta, was wonderful and we found the tour both informative and fun. The olive oil and wine tastings were great and the tour of the old crush/press museum in the cute village of Niguelas was very interesting. It was also nice to be able to purchase the products we sampled and have them bubble-wrapped/packed for the trip... More

Turns out we did not. This tour was really informative and interactive. Violeta was a great guide and answered all of our questions. Beautiful views, incredible preservation of ancient processing equipment and a FABULOUS tasting session. Wish we had bought more wine and olive oil at the end! If you have time this is really beneficial to do at the... More
