Matching in name the Bajondillo street and pasaje leading up to the lift to take you to the Torremolinos town centre is this beach. It is well frequented and has the ubiquitous sunning beds for hire. This sums it all up for a day in...More
The beachfront along Torremolinos is a superb stretch of sand that is just a joy to visit.
Pristine sand, clear water, and kept clean the beachfront is littered with innumerable chiringuito's ( beach front restaurants ) and all manner of pubs, bars and restaurants.

Nice but busy beach. Good facility’s like beds and also showers, foot showers etc. Also plenty of water based activities if you want and some lovely restaurants both beach side and also a little bit back. Of course better value is to be found back...More
We thought the Torremolinos area in Costa del Sol was really good as there were a lot of restaurants around. The beer was also affordable in the area and it had a nice atmosphere over all. We just wished there were night clubs for straight...More
As previous visits the Beach and Promenade are kept spotlessly clean. Numerous beach activities to entertain young and old. There isn’t a shortage of very nice Beach Restaurants along the length of the strip, offering a varied choice of Menues. Only a short distance you...More
Great clean beach, sunbeds are nice at 6 Euro each but you could spend the day there if you want, under the shade or in the sun, also for a fair price the people bring you drinks and stuff, good skills
Great beach, very clean with more than enough space to not feel crowded. There are wooden paths so you don't burn your feet on sand and there is a FREE toilet and that really is a bonus for any resort so well done.

Hi Cathy and Joe... To get to Torremolinos I always get the train which is about 200 yards from the exit of Malaga airport. It is about a 3 Euro fare and involves just five stops. When you get to Torremolinos.. you climb a few stairs and you are right in the middle of Torremolinos square.. Personally no matter where I am in the world I really try to avoid Taxis (Taxi Drivers).. Most of them seem to want to rip you off one way or another. Best advice I can give you is to travel light with just one bag each... it is so much better than dragging around luggage in the heat which quite honestly most people do not really need to do. To end with.. you are going to a great place and you will love it.. Let me say.. I am proud to be English, but for your period that you are there just forget you are English ... Take life steady, mix with the local establishments and maybe you may get like my wife and I and you will go back there again and again... We have no idea how many times now.. Have a great time.. Chas.
