Strickly speaking a shopping area, Calle San Miguel is one of the main consumer sectors of Torremolinos. Truly its a great place to relax and have a drink in one of the many bar's or just to browse the shop's. With it's central location and great atmosphere it's an excellent street to walk down and just puruse the sights.

Really enjoyable shopping area, where anyone could find everything they need. From nice souvenirs to cosy clothes or useful things. When you are ready or get tired and need a rest you can seat and have a drink, an icecream or even a nice lunch or dinner at different pubs/restaurants in the area

A lovely place to stroll at your own pace, with plenty of shops and restaurants. It is a bit touristy but there are some bargains and the atmosphere is relaxed. Not the usual hassle so you can browse.

We really enjoyed walking around the streets
The shop owners or assistants were very friendly none of them were pushy and they were very informative most could speak the fair amount of English which was really nice

It's a touristy street but in some parts it has still some local ambience. But if you're looking for some shops and good restaurants it's the place to go (rather than the seaside promenade).

Loved having a stroll around these shopping areas. Shopkeepers left us to browse and didn’t hassle you to buy. Good variety and some good prices, even did some Christmas shopping whilst there. We were there in November and although there were plenty of people around, it wasn’t crowded.

There is so much to do on this street: shop, eat, foot spa, etc
Lots of stairs but you can walk at your own pace so you can browse the stores or sit on the benches along the way.

If we take the bus from Benalmadena, where would we get off? Does Calle San Miguel go all the way to the Paseo Maritimo?

Get off the bus at the bus station, turn right and you will soon see Calle Sam Miguel. It is quite a walk down Calle Sam Miguel to the beach (Paseo Maritimo) but there are plenty of places to stop for a drink/snack in between browsing all the shops.

Can you walk from Sol house to here? Will have a wheelchair too so wondered what distance is please

I'm not sure where Sol House is but Calle San Miguel is right in the middle of town and up above the seafront, with a set of steps up to it. There may be a lot somewhere in the vicinity. The road itself slopes downwards towards the sea but not that steeply, just so you have it in mind for the wheelchair. Up on the main road, from which Calle San Miguel runs, it is quite flat, Hope this helps.

Bonjour.
