Marbella Club Golf Resort is a perfect blend of nature, golf, horse riding, unique restaurant and service excellence. It is located in a beautifull setting with gorgeous views over the African coast, Mediterranean Sea, Rock of Gibraltar and Benahavis Mountains, only a few minutes drive West of Marbella. The golf course was designed and built by famous golfer Dave Thomas. It is a par 72 course with amazing tee shots, breathtaking views and excellent fairways and greens. Most holes are separated by forestry areas so in most cases the player feels exclussively alone on the course. Marbella Club Golf Resort is owned by the best hotels in Marbella, Marbella Club Hotel & Thalasso SPA and Puente Romano Hotel. Only guests staying at either hotel, resort residents and a limitted number of visitors are allowed on the course each day to ensure privacy, excellent service and a peaceful round of golf. The Restaurant in the Club House is simply excellent. It is elegantly decorated in a colonial style and it has a friendly atmosphere. The new menu launched in november 2012 is innovative and diverse, from a selection of sandwiches to the finest fishes and most exclussive wines.

Highly enjoyable. Off the beaten track, which is no bad thing. The course itself was in pretty good knick - a number of very enjoyable holes - certainly not mundane. It's a tight track, so either bring your A game, or alternatively reel it in a bit and keep it in play. Don't book this course if you're a beginner/non-golfer,... More

Possibly one of the best courses I have played... any one of half a dozen holes could class as the signature hole on most courses. Amazing condition and as tight as a gnats a@@@ it is a true pleasure to play. Service in the restaurant was very poor but afterwards the club apologised and offered a free meal next time... More

This a review of two halves. Firstly, the golf course itself is as many have already said is fantastic. Sweeping fairways, elevated tees & greens, awesome views and in excellent condition - it's well worth the drive into the hills to play this. Service on arrival was excellent. Secondly, we found the service in the bar / restaurant after our... More

Not to be confused with the Marbella Golf near the hospital. This golf club is up in the hills, and is really worth the visit. It's a must have a buggy course, and the landscape doesn't disappoint. Great views. It is really fun to play. This was my second visit, and it will be my first choice for future visits.... More

I found this gem many years ago and always play it. The food and wine, course and ambience is first class. The staff are so helpful. A must for golfers of all standards. 10 out of 10 - well done guys

We have just returned from a lads golf tour which included this outstanding course. It's a little way out but well worth the trek . Nestled in the hills the views are amazing and the course has a great layout where you rarely know where the next hole is until you arrive there . Quaint clubhouse, friendly staff , this... More

This is a fantastic course away from the built up areas of Marbella. Situated in the hills near Benahavis it is a real pleasure to play. Great scenery, challenging golf on a course in really good condition. Had the first tee time of the day and it was the perfect round; very few golfers on the course behind us.

The best and hardest course i have currently played at. Visually it is absolutely stunning. The course is demanding with many blind holes to play it is definitely a course that needs to be played a few times

A wonderful course that I had the pleasure to play as was staying at puente Romano hotel. This is a must play as it is included in your stay. Challenging but wonderful will be back again soon. Fairways and greens were a bit banged up but lots of maintenance people around the course to try and keep it tip top
