Booked a day trip to Ronda by Rail. Minibus collected us from our holiday apartment in Fuengirola and took us to the railway station at San Roc for the service Ronda. On the journey there was spectacular scenery to admire as well a great view of the stork colony at San Roc Station. The journey takes about 1.5 h on a modern and comfortable train. We had about 3 1/2 h free time in Ronda where are plenty of restaurants. The views down the gorge are amazing and there plenty of photo opportunities. Access to the old city is via one of the 3 bridges over the gorge - spectacular! Journey back by minibus down the mountain road to the coast highway takes about 1h. The total cost was €55/person and there was a very knowledgeable, friendly multilingual guide. Well worth the money.

Great day out. Picked us up near hotel. Actually sent good map and picture of bus stop. We booked this through their agent Marbella Sun Rentals. Coach was lovely. Tour operator and guide really good. She spoke 5 Languages. Everything including the cave tour was outstanding

We enjoyed the tour of the Kasbah by our excellent guide Mohammed and stopped in the Soux for lunch. First impression of the restaurant made me feel wary of what was to come. The first course was cold soup so we decided on a safer option and only ate the bread. Main meal was couscous with vegetables and chicken. I wasn’t going to risk eating the chicken so went for the couscous and more bread. However, my husband decided he’d try the chicken to his cost. 48HRS LATER MY HUSBAND SUFFERED SEVERE STOMACH CRAMPS AND DIARRHOEA. !

Everything was so well organized, we manage to see a lot and to learn a lot about Tangier. Our quide Mohammed was great, so relaxed and highely educated. We managed to buy some nice things, had a nice lunch in colorful local restaurant and this was very nice experience. I would reccomend this trip to everyone except to families with small children, because it is too much for kids.

We were picked up at 7am (so later than the first pickups). The coach was comfortable and air-conditioned. The two guides, one Russian and one German were knowledgeable and the German guide spoke excellent English. Everything was explained to us before we got to the port to take us to Tangier. This also went without delay and the hour or so trip across to Tangier was pleasant enough. Our guides on the Tangier side were extremely knowledgeable and a coach was awaiting our arrival. We were taken into the City and then walked around the small streets which were interesting and colourful. Lunch was the most disappointing thing about the day as the restaurant looked tired and in need of an uplift. The good was ok, but it was included within the price and we survived! We were taken to a place which sold rugs/carpets amongst other things but would have preferred to visit a "proper" souk. After this we were taken to a place which sold lotions and potions. I was drawn into making a couple of purchases but am not disappointed. There were lots of street sellers and, again, I was drawn into purchasing a scarf, which I actually like very much. My two girlfriends were more drawn and purchased leather bags! The sellers were friendly enough and once they realised you were not going to buy moved on! My favourite part of the trip was towards the end of the excursion ... driving through the Beverly Hills of Tangier and then onto the Atlantic coast which looked absolutely stunning with huge beaches and a beautiful coastline. We visited some caves of Hercules but you could also have a drink and and look at other small shops. The trip back to the Spanish mainline went without delay and we arrived back at our resort - just outside Estepona at around 7.30pm. All in all we enjoyed our day trip and would highly recommend.
