This place presents a natural gateway into the splendid Malaga harbour. Once you are facing the square, you see some of the most grand-style building in the city, incl. the Marriott hotel.

The Plaza is a super spot to get your bearings from. The port is to the south side and the town to the north. Worth using it as a meeting point as the underground Marina is just below it and the tourist information is also...More

You can't miss the square since going between the harbour and the city centre, you'll most likely be passing via the square. There's a lot of things happening around the area, one side has the park, the other side the harbour where cruise ships dock.

Very nice area at the harbour to walk and people watch. Safe. If you come in on a ship you can stroll to the main part of old town. You are about a 10 minute wak to all the sites close to the cathedral.

Easily accessible by foot from the port , this Plaza houses the Tourist Information Office where one can take a cheap guided tour and is close to many bars and restaurants . Nice place also to cool down during a hot day !

The Plaza de la Marina is one of the most beautiful plazas in Malaga because it is round and has fountains and flowers. It is at the intersection of several important streets.

An alternative pit stop before heading into the old town or continuing along the quayside. Some nice buildings or cruise ships to rest your eyes on.

This plaza is really in the city centre, near the Puerto de Malaga. It is a nice place to sit after a long walk but nothing is special. There is no cafes or restaurants only the tourist information is at a corner of the plaza....More

The distance is 3.3 km. When there are cruise ships there is a bus that brings them to the Plaza de la Marina for a nominal fee.
