This is a very interesting museum. Not too big, not too small - a nice variety of artwork. They change out the current offering frequently and have a nice permanent collection. The building is in a convenient location near the port and train station. It is clean, airy and has a whimsical statue just outside the door. There is also... More

This art gallery is a gem. Free, provocative and a great space for displaying the works - what more could you want?

If you have 1 oder 2 hours to spend you should visit th CCM. We had the joy to see two different exhibtions with high quality standards. And best of all: it is totally for free ;-) You shoul also give the restaurant "la oliva" a try  - at least for coffee and very tasty homemade sweets!

The CAC is located beside the river in an old repurposed warehouse. It is a huge space, all white, with high ceilings and allows for a flexible display space for the temporary exhibits it hosts. Since it is slightly away from the other major museums, but still a very quick walk, it tends not to be as crowded. There is... More

Visiting CAC is always a must when I visit Malaga. Never disappointed, just love this modern art. Free of charge is one extra plus.

Large contemporary art space with lots of interesting exhibits. I thought it was great. I was less keen on one of the jobsworths who told me off for carrying a small bottle of water. I wasn't drinking it just carrying it. She had got out of her chair to tell off a man flashing away with his camera but decided... More

I was so happy to have visited this art museum. It was a pleasant surprise to see that it costed nothing to enter! Lots of staff, very clean, clear explanations. This museum should be a good example for others around the world to follow.

This contemporary art space is well worth a visit. It is bright and welcoming, with well set out permanent and temporary exhibitions. The building and its surroundings are interesting, so take a stroll along the river bank and see the MAUS art around SoHo at the same time.

Visited 17 th March and was disappointed that over half was closed due to preparation of new exhibition. The building was rather warm and lacking in air con. Some of the art on show was of a good standard but there was too little of it. All in all I left unimpressed with an attraction that frequently gets good reviews.

A great experience, and free too! There's also a cafe/sushi place and bookstore inside. Very nice bathrooms too, which you don't tend to find very often in Malaga center. I recommend this if you're looking for cheap (or free) things to do in Malaga, or even if you're just looking for things to do.
