Near Mercado de la Merced you will find this square and a bronze statue of Picasso sitting on a bench. There are a number of bars and tapas restaurants that are great and cheap eateries with a lot of atmosphere. Do not miss it.

Big space, with not too much to look at. It's also used for concerts and misc. activities. In one end you can enjoy afternoon sun enjoying a glas cava or some lovely tapas - not pricy. I've been here many times.
