A unique approach to auto history and fashion art
I have visited the exhibition four times dating back five or six years and hope to visit, this time with my wife and friends. It is a wonderful mix of petrol-head and fashion art and the changes that you have made over the years, although quite subtle, make it more enjoyable each time. Thank you
Hello Guide33342017695, Thank you for your visit to the museum and sharing your opinion. We are very pleased you, your wife and friends enjoyed the exhibition. We hope to see you soon again. Best regards.

    Fantastic Museum, Worth The Visit!
Where do I start? It was outstanding here! Beautiful cars with themed outfits to go with it! It had the beetles customised car, Marilyn Monroe's dress and so much more! We drove around an hour to get here but it was worth the drive! My kids enjoyed the barbie themed car especially but overall it was amazing!
Hello TopperOwen, Thank you very much for visit us and sharing your opinion! We are very pleased you and your family enjoyed the exhibition. We hope to see you soon again. Best regards!

    Pretty, Chitty Bang Bang!
As a family we don't have a huge interest in cars but we thought this museum, with its added fashion, looked interesting. All 3 of us (2adults and 1 teen) loved it. It cost 26 euros and it took about 90 mins to look round, reading all the descriptions. The collection of both cars and clothing/hats is stunning, really nicely executed, lots of space between the exhibits and some great photo opportunities. There's also a reasonably priced shop. A t shirt cost 12 euros. A 'must do' in Malaga.
Hello Flossyfrills, Thank you for your visit to the museum and sharing your opinion. We are very pleased you enjoyed the exhibition and hope to see you and your family soon again. Best regards.

Malaga Automotive Museum Visit - recommended
This was a surprise and delight experience I can recommend as a must see. An incredibly comprehensive collection of automobile history each car in pristine condition and beautifully presented, complimented by an excellent collection of designer ladies period outfits, hats and accessories along with quirky pieces of art. Each piece was beautifully displayed and explained, worth assigning a good few hours of your time.

Worth it if you have a free hour or two
Well worth a visit if you have a spare couple of hours in Malaga. Take the No. 7 bus from the centre for €1.40 and you’re there in 30minutes. Really interesting collection of cars from the early 1900s to present day. Fashions exhibited to match each era. Story boards in Spanish and English. We loved it.

    Must visit museum
Really interesting museum with a range of cars on display from the earliest until the 1960s. Fascinating to see how car design changed over the years. Whilst the fashion on display was of interest, it was overshadowed by the cars. Very reasonably priced, particularly as we had a reduction for being old! If visiting Malaga, you really should not miss this museum.

    Exceptional Car Collection
Simply brilliant. One man’s exclusive collection beautifully presented with haut couture. Loved the gull wing Mercedes sports car, the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, the Hispano Suiza, a couple of Cords and exquisite Jaguars. Did I forget to mention a Bugatti? This is a world class selection. Easy to find, bright and airy to wander around. Unmissable.

    Fantastic motor and fashion museum
What a wonderful little museum! A great mix of beautiful cars and beautiful fashion. My wife, who really isn’t into cars, loved it. Recommend having the informative, and often entertaining, audio guide. Easy to get to on the No 7 bus.

    Fantastic Museum Experience
This is a unique and amazing museum, combining restored cars from more than 100 years ago along with high fashion from the automotive eras. It is right-sized for a two hour leisurely tour. A real highlight in Malaga!

Put this one on your List
I'm not really a car buff at all but you have to admire this amazing collection of cars from all periods and countries and also the ladies costumes / dresses, which were also pleasing on the eye. I would definitely recommend this museum. It's a taxi ride out of town and there are other art exhibitions close by, so make sure you check these out whilst you're there and maximise your trip. I would say that this and the Picasso museum are 'must do.'

Entry 10 euros each with audio guide. Locations numbered. Nice reception staff which started our visit off well.
Novel idea of including fashion with the same car era and showing well known personalities owning both in the relevant years. The vehicles are immaculately displayed with clear storyline and the audio guide fills in areas of interest. If you were Born in the 30s/40s/50s then your memory will enjoy taking you back to some significant times. Some of the vehicles displayed are simply unique as well as iconic and British cars back in the early days commanded a status not really enjoyed now in the same way. I was particularly moved by a small display of three Austin 7s and a Morris 8 dating back to the 30s before WW2 as my father worked at the Morris Motors factory in Cowley Oxford for 37yrs from late 20s and may have even tuned the Morris 8 as it was part of his job.
We spent almost 3hrs here and watched two of the iconic cars being started up in the display area which apparently they do on Sundays at 12.30pm.
Having visited numerous Motor museums around the world this was up there with the best so worth a visit especially as your partner will no doubt enjoy it too.

This museum combines 2 beautiful things: automobiles and fashion! I really liked how the dresses/outfits were displayed next to the cars from that era and the info was informative but not overwhelming. It was the prefect way to spend an hour or so in Malaga.

We travelled here on the number 3 bus from our hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Pleasant staff at the front desk. We declined the self-guided audio tour and there were no lockers. Set in a former tobacco factory, the diffused light was perfect to display some pristine, priceless cars with the fashion of the day alongside them. We spent almost 2 hours there and really liked the layout. Info boards in Spanish and English. Well worth a visit and we recommend. Approximately 8 euros entrance fee.

I took my husband on his birthday and he was very happy! It is a great collection and combined with fashion was a great idea.
The fashion was tailored to the age of the car.

We visited the museum last week. It was recommended to us who had visited on a previous to Malaga. We found it amazing! The mix of the cars from certain years, along with the fashion of that time, added to the experience. The descriptions, along side each exhibit, was excellent. We felt it would be of interest for everyone. The location of the museum is really nice and is most relaxing, with the gardens outside. The staff were most pleasant and helpful. Thank you.

I haven’t had this much fun at a museum in ages! I’m not a car or fashion enthusiast and I had a great time and experience. We took a cab to the museum - very easy to arrange and museum staff was helpful getting us a cab to our next destination. The exhibits were well arranged and well lit. Really clever idea mixing the 100+ restored cars and fashion together. Loved the car with the mother-in-law seat! Signage with explanations in both English and Spanish. My only “issue”, if you can call it that, was that I couldn’t purchase a keepsake book at the gift shop as a takeaway to give to my car enthusiast friends. Highly Recommend!

Disappointing. Inauthentic autos with inaccurate information. Mediocre condition at best. Novel idea of pairing haute couture with industrial design, and some Euro cars are worth seeing.

Hello realtorrichard, Thank you for your review. We are very sorry for your comment but the cars in the Maga collection are authentic. Some of them have been restored to offer a new vision of the owner and founder, Joao Magalhaes, but the original pieces are authentic. In fact, the Museum has the document of every automobile, so we are able to confirm that. We hope to see you soon again and improve your experience. Best regards.
