A clean nice beach for a long stay. Restaurants, cafes, and enough chilling areas inviting for a relaxing stay. No bothering beach vendors but a lot of shells to find.

When the wind blows from the East you end up packing out a lot of sand. Also be prepared for the heat. There isn't much shade.

La Barossa beach stretches for miles. Good facilities bars restaurants and chiringuitos. Mostly Spanish holidaymakers. Lovely.

Well worth a visit if your anywhere near the area. Beautiful long sandy beach reaching out into the Atlantic. The sea is quite shallow coming onto the beach. There is a long promonada which has lots of great little venta's and restaurants. In the summer...More

If you want a peaceful and relaxed holiday with beautiful beaches but not much night life then this is old world Spain. The hotels are generally good and Royal Hideaway is great! Some wonderful white villages but you must have a car. Try!!!!

La Barrosa is a wide beach with fine sand. Boulevard consists of a few bars and restaurants, nothing special. Beach is clean and sea is not deep i.e. easy for kids. However note that it can be very windy, making the time on the beach...More
