A great area for strolling around, and you can't get lost because you are virtually on an island. Atmospheric and not too touristy.

Lovely, unforgettable neighbourhood we discovered as we were walking around , part of our walking tour. The narrow cobble streets, the small shops, lots of small plazas, bars, restaurants and residential homes. You certainly get the charm, special admiration of Cádiz.

Cadiz is a very pretty small town perfect for exploring on foot, and Santa Maria is a good place to head off to. Stop for a drink or a meal. Explore.

This is a neighborhood of narrow winding streets where you will find restaurants along wider plazas mixed with stores and residents.

Quaint and charming, full of narrow streets and pleasant apartment houses, lots of places to eat and drink. Take a stroll.

Pretty church in the middle of the little streets of Cadiz, can go unnoticed in the middle of its old buildings

This is a lovely area with an ornate church at the end of a street teeming with restaurants and tapas bars. There's a friendly feel to the area and a real buzz. Restaurants vary in price but overall it isn't expensive. Some quaint streets in...More

Don't know much about the fiesta as I've not been at this time of year. However there is a catamaran from el puerto de Santa Maria to Cadiz which sails regularly and isn't expensive - I think about €4 per person return. It's... More
