My wife and I walked across the beach between the 2 fortresses that guard the bay, built in the 17th century. It makes for a lovely walk as you head out to the headland and SAN Sebastián Castle, which isn’t open to visitors due to...More

It's a lovely beach, but dogs are allowed and I saw one owner just kick sand over his dog's poop. I'm sure if he did it, so did many others as there were plenty of dogs here. I would not swim there.

Has one or two small pubs right at the waterfront plus fishing boats plus views of the castle in the seas. Particularly suited when there is a cold northern wind blowing to sit in the sun and have lunch.. but watch out it can be...More

Obviously not beach weather in February, but a nice walk out to the fort (no public access to the building) on the left side of the beach. The restaurant was sheltered and a sun-trap - looked idea for a sunny winter day.

Lovely beach, great restaurant right on the sand and the Moorish Bathhouse sets the scene. Not far from the Botanical gardens so combine the two for a great walk in Cadiz.

This beach is in the older part of Cadiz with lovely views towards the castle and lighthouse. There are a couple of good places to eat just behind it and enjoy a drink or two while admiring the view.

what a fantastic beach. with the long walk out promenade, unfortunately the gates were closed for some renovation work on yhe tower. you can spend hours just watching the local lads fishing for supper. huge beach for the kids to run riot in complete safety
