The sheer scale of this place is stunning. Make sure you take the audio guide as it really brings the building to life. Highlights for us were the quire and the side chapel with the solid silver monstrance. That was genuinely breath-taking. Allow an hour...More

The cost was 5€,4€ for senior citizens. Good tour with handset. Took about two hours to cover cathedral, bell tower and museum. Well worth the money.

The impressive outside was reflected by the spaciousness of the internal layout with umpteen pillars and a state crypt, but the silver structure on the west side was the ultimate in religious bling! However, the icing on the cake was the wonderful view from the...More

You get a sense in this cathedral of the wealth brought back from the new world. Beautiful art from centuries ago and silver and gold artifacts that are amazing. I disagree with reviews that complained about the €5 entrance fee and the alleged disrepair. The...More

Interesting cathedral as the frontage outside seems quite modern whilst the inside is obviously old and yet when seen over the rooftops quite mosque-like due to the golden dome. The Crypt appears to have been used as recently as 1980.

Refused to pay an entrance fee to visit and worship in a Catholic Cathedral. The building looks great from the outside.

The highlight of this fine old cathedral is probably its crypt below sea level, and the brilliance of street flamenco music and dance outside in the square. There is a tower included in the price. We didn't go up after seeing the nearby camera obscura

The Cathedral is impressive from the outside but the best bit is walking up the bell tower to overlook Cadiz! Worth the ticket price.

Don't be scared away by the 5 euro entry fee - it gets you a very thorough audio guide and access to the bell tower. The view from the tower is well worth the climb, particularly on a sunny day it's the best way to...More

Pretty decent cathedral. We did not enter it unfortunatelly, but I suppose that it's looking nice from the inside too.
