I expect a good guide would add more, but we enjoyed ourselves very much just walking about this area on our own. We had rented an apartment in the area (Mi Casa in Cordoba), which was very nice. Lots of places to stop for a...More

After a lovely tour to the Mezquita, our guide took us to the Calleja de las Flores for a quick photo op of the flower pots on the walls. Then winding through the streets, passed Casa-Museo del Guadamecí Omeya; through the Plaza del Cardenal Salazar...More

This evocative area of alleys and houses is fascinating; our audio guided tour was useful to have as there is so much to see and hear about

We loved our walk and shopping in the Jewish Quarter in Cordoba. The alley ways were so eclectic and made for some colorful photos. Unfortunately, it rained for part of the day which put a damper on our experience, however we still have some great...More

When in Cordoba, wandered through the narrow streets in the Jewish quarter, well worth a look and stroll.

After our incredibly good guided tour of the Cordoba Mezquita our excellent guide, David, took us through the former Jewish Quarter of the city. We were glad that he was in the lead as we would clearly have got lost in this interesting area without...More

Worth a walk around to get a flavor for what life must have been like in the walled city. Unfortunately the old synagogue was closed for repairs and restoration

Streets full of shops and restaurants... nice white buildings to take a walk!! We spent about 30m walking in the streets and visit some shops. Is in the way to the cathedral..

Very easy to get lost tho! Really tiny and cramped streets filled with tourist trap type shops. The streets wind in circles and you never really know where you’ll end up. The maps don’t help either. Many ppl walking around holding maps with confused looks...More

Amazing area you go back to the middle ages. It is all very well kept. The old narrow streets give you one surprise after the other. During the day it offers lots of shelter from the sun. Try to visit early in the morning to...More

Hi, Alex. I think a map or a guidebook is enough. It’s a nice area to walk around, it shouldn’t take you more than 2 hours. Hope this helps.
