It was very cool and interesting, though I went for free on the white night [la noche blanca - june of 2015] and it was too crowdy, so the tour was very quick. we didn't have enough time. the surgery room was very nice and interesting. I liked the whole thing. I think it is one of the top 3... More

Underground tunnels used as air raid shelters during the war. Well preserved. Film at being or your is in Spanish with English subtitles. The rest of the guided tour is only in Spanish.

Very interesting. A maze of tunnels dug by hand with a hospital room and surgery. Introduced by a documentary with witnesses still living.

An interesting visit if you master the Spanish language to a competent to very good level as the guided visits are solely in Spanish.

We noticed the attraction was close to our hotel and managed to book a place on the Saturday 6pm tour. Lasting just under 1.5 hours, it provides and interesting and unusual perspective on the city's 20th century history. Involves gentle walking in underground tunnels - probably not good for the claustrophobic, also excellent value at 3 euro!

Or unless you want to waste an hour of your life! I was excited that I managed to eventually book tickets on the website but was very disappointed by the visit. We were asked which countries we were from and owned up to being English. We thought that we might get the odd snippet of information here or there, but... More

If you're into war history this is for you. If you're not its still really interesting. You are best to book ahead. I just turned up and was able to get in the same day, but sounds like that's uncommon. The tour starts with a video for ten minutes. Interesting & has English sub titles. Then you go into the... I didn't think this visit would be very interesting, but how wrong I was. Even in winter you have to book as they will only take 25 people down at a time, so beware......don't expect to just waltz in! The tour is in Spanish only, however, so do look up this monument via the Internet or books, or you'll miss... More

We visited the museum and found it very interesting, would thoroughly recommend. The film they show at the beginning has English subtitles but the tour is in Spanish - we did not find this a problem at all as we could understand (even with little Spanish). The tour lasts about 1 hour 30 minutes and is very interesting - it... More

I enquired before booking and was assured the guide would speak very slowly for my benefit. I speak enough Spanish to live in Almeria for months at a time but not enough for this tour. It might have been fascinating, it could have enlightened me, but the guide spoke at the speed of an AVE train. The tunnels were a... More
