The Hansa Museum gives a very complete history of the League. I walked in knowing little but the words "Hansa League" and left feeling I had completed a full college course! Best of all, it was an entertaining way to learn through appropriate and fun...More

The Hansemuseum provides a large amount of information on the Hansa and we learned a lot spending more than two and a half hours there. However, the way things are presented is a bit overly-technized. Upon entry, you get an RFID-fitted ticket. Inside, there is...More

Very well set out and interesting content. It was mostly visual and delivered by text but there was also some audio. At the outset you can tailor the displays to your particular interests by programming your ticket. This then operates all the information stations along...More

I generally only write reviews for restaurants rather than attractions, but the Hansamuseum has to be one of the most remarkable and brilliant museums I have ever visited, and is worth writing home about. That’s saying something, as I’ve visited a hell of a lot...More

This museum is a must when In Lübeck. Rooms alternate between the description where the story and concept is described and rooms with artefacts. We spend the entire morning in the museum and even came back after a lunch break.

Gives an interesting and deeply historic review of Hanse, not only in Lubeck, but whole Europe, with a chance to choose the city and a topic on medieval life of which you want to find out more.
