G'day We have walked past this site so many times and it just goes to prove that the practice of walking into doorways and exploring pays off. The display in the old priests house is amazing and it's difficult to make the leap back from where we are with appliances and living standards now to where these people were. Ok now this museum links into another by a glass air bridge and it's even more remarkable. In this museum is a much larger more extravagant display of the history of the region. It wasn't until this time did I know that Zwickau had a porcelain industry, coal mining and precious metals industries. There is also a good display of historical armour and weapons from the region (see photos). Now within 50m of all of this is the beautiful St Marian's Cathedral and I highly recommend some quality time in here. I don't know what it is but ..... this particular cathedral is very very peaceful. Cheers Robbee

There is no entrance fee to pay for this museum. It shows how priests (lower level) used to live in the middle ages. pore
