This is one of my favorite churches in Europe. I think simply because it is, well, simple. It is solely focused on Christ and the stained glass is so pretty in the late morning.

The church was built in the late 19th century for soldiers stationed nearby, and thus it held both Protestant and Catholic services but after recent renovations it has only been used for Catholic services. Luckily, it was undamaged by the 1945 Allied bombings. It is...More

It is a landmark in Dresden due to its imposing structure. Still in use as Catholic Church for worshippers. It is worth the time to explore the interiors too.
