There is a lot of activity going on even though we were here on a weekday. There were a number of merchants here and some street performers. There are eateries and shop around, but the main reason to come here is the Frauenkirche and the...More

It is difficult to decide which square in the city is the best, so I won't try. This square buzzes with activity that gives it a good atmosphere.

Dresden city really amazes me. This is really beautiful town square with plenty of old buildings. Sometimes they have live events in this town square and is treat to watch them and I was lucky enough to witness one such live event.

The large squares of Dresden (including the Neumarkt) is ideal for lazy strolling in day or evening to appreciate the old reconstructed glory of Dresden. May interesting buildings, restaurants, cafes all around to keep one busy soaking in the past.

There are lots of lovely buildings and architecture however lots of building works still going on which detracts from the area.

This is the central square of the old town of Dresden. Almost all of the buildings here are newly built, and you can that they really tried to to rebuild the square after how it looked before the war. Very well made, and the church...More
