The people of Dresden are understandably proud of this impressive rebuilding of the famous Church in the heart of Dresden. The interior is still looking a bit 'new', but it is beautiful and has been faithfully restored. It is free to enter and is worth...More

This small church is located right on the main square. It's rather plain by European standards but pretty nevertheless. It dates back to sometime in the 1400s and has suffered damage through Germany's many wars.

Amazing that this church was completely destroyed in the bombings in the war and completely rebuilt and inaugurated only in 2005! I was a bit astonished by its simplicity in the inside based on its majestic outside.

It is a lovely church to visit and full worth going when you are there anyway. When you are lucky like us the choir is rehearsing which is great.

If you can see a picture of what it looked like after the war, you would be surprised with what they have accomplished here. It's a wonder!

It is amazing to see how good German Architects are in restoring age old beautiful structure which has to face destruction during the world war. Most of the people end up missing this beauty and see it from outside. It is a must see attraction....More

awesome! to think this has arisen from the rubble of 1945 is amazing. Free entry from 10am. Pity so many totally ignore the no photography sign. Just sit in a pew away from the crowd and drink it all in.

Worth a stop in, note how they worked in some of the original stone blocks in to the reconstruction, they are the aged blackened stones.

Both inside and outside are inspiring but you are not allowed to take photos inside and part of the outside was being restored.
