Trier is the northern most outpost of the roman empire this imrpessive amiptheatre of upper and lower levels is great to explore on foot! Beautiful and well preserved.

Must see if you are close to Trier. This is a world heritage site. You can tour underneath and above the amphitheater

Not a lot to see or do at this attraction. Requires a lot of vision to imagine what it once was. There are more interesting things to do in Trier.

This is far from the tourist crowds. But a must see with the Porta Nigra and Roman Baths. There is a small gladiator performance at 18h on Sundays and bank holidays.

A live example of how entertainment was. A mini Coliseum, like in Rome, well preserved except for the seating area. Go. Visit underneath the arena.

This Amphitheater is included on the Unesco World Heritage list in Trier and as such we wanted to see it ! Reading the reviews on Trip advisor prior to our trip did not motivate to spend a lot of time and efforts to visit it...More

I am not sure. However it is wide open and here they have a website if you search trier roman amphitheater. I sure hope it helps. You should experience this.
