While strolling through Trier it is pretty easy to spot this large, beautiful and picturesque market square. Definitely spend a few minutes soaking it all in. ...it is bordered by St. Peter's Cathedral on one side.

Wonderful stroll through this spot while on a walking tour near our hotel. The wine bar in the middle is clearly a highlight with visitors.

A wonderful mix of eclectic stores and high street names. All within easy access. Lots of bars and ice cream spots when it's hot and you need a break!

Great hang-out spot with plenty to see. Surrounded by beautiful old houses and many sitting/eating options. Definitely a place to visit.

Lots of shopping stores, ice cream shops, cafes and restaurants. Beautiful architecture. It gets crowded but worth a visit if in Trier.

If you mean the regular week-market that one is on: Tuesdays and Thursdays at the 'Markt' (at the middle of the center) , or alternatively, on Saturdays on the 'Münsterplatz'. The christmas market can best be visited... More
