The Church of Our Lady Romanesque is a beautifully serene place of peace with star vaulted ceilings, and beautiful stained glass. It overlooks the Mosel River.

One of the main churches in the city. It was the urban parish church before the secularization of religious property in the early 19th century. Moreover, it is perhaps the oldest in Koblenz, for it stands on the foundations of the old temple another 5...More

This is not a tourist trap like so many old-town churches are. Much was destroyed during WW2 and has been rebuilt. It is a peaceful, restful place to pray and meditate, has some very nice stained glass.

A beautiful old church. More fabulous stained glass windows. Interior was elegant yet simple architecture. Certainly worth stopping and looking inside.

The Liebfrauenkirche dates back to the 5th century. The church had been converted and extended several times using the original foundations the chancel was built around 1404 but the Baroque dome towers date from 1693. It was beautiful.

One of a few beautiful old churches in Koblenz. We stepped in real quick to take a peak. Pretty easy to get to walking around the town, it's right off a main square.

The entrance is not very obvious but it is right off the town square. Beatiful stained glass windows and small family chapels. The church is surrounded by buildings on all sides so you cannot really take in the whole structure but it is worth the...More
