Gross St.Martin is a lovely looking church.....the interior is not ornate but nice and simple...apparently some of it was rebuilt after ww11...there are Roman ruins in basement which you can visit for a very small fee.

The church looks huge from the outside that dominates the old town area but when inside it seems much smaller and is fairly plain (having been rebuilt after the war). While its free to enter the church theres a small 50c charge to visit the...More

Right on the market, plenty of places to eat. It is right on the river across from a nice green space good to picnic. The green is the bachelor and bachelorette place to go on Friday night which makes a person interesting people watching.

We visited Colonge when it was raining. Yes, this presented some challenges but this is a great spot to visit for the unique architecture and inspiring church. Go visit this area.

For many, the Catholic-Jesuitical is an event-based historical belief rather than anything metaphysical. But the atmosphere of this astounding historical side is infused with the energetics of metaphysics by ambience, decorative restoration, colour, air-space, history and mood - all the pragmatics you do not condense...More

It took some 40 years to rebuild after the war and its interesting to see how they did it, without much of the traditional ornamentation.

On our way to a boat tour of the canals we walked the street admiring the architecture. Quite a lovely mix of people and pets along the way made for an even better view.

A beautiful church that is as worth visiting as the Dom. It is set in a very pretty area near the Rhine. Definitely worth visiting and photographing.
